Now for the usual “Conservation” approach to electricity savings at your place of business here are some tips too:

• Reduce lighting cost by using compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs). They user up to 75% less electricity and produce 90% lest heat.
• Install a programmable thermostat. Set the temperature to comfortable levels during the business hours and to energy efficient level for non-business hours and weekends.
• Check your ducts for leaks and use dampers to control air flow. Provide more flow to areas with more persons and areas with large windows.
• Install blinds or shades to keep the sunlight from warming up a work area during the summer, but open them up in the winter to let the sun help you warm your spaces.
